On May 11, 2006, the Processors-Manufacturers Sub-Council hosted a meeting in Washington, D.C. The Sub-Council extended invitations to the Food and Agriculture Sector Coordinating Council, as well as its other Sub-Councils. The day's agenda included a presentation by the National Chicken Council on Avian Influenza and a group discussion on pandemic planning. Forums such as this continue to encourage dialogue on important topics affecting the Food and Agriculture Sector.
